A Scientist's Manifesto - Lord Winston

  • The science that I do is not my property.
  • I must communicate science more effectively.
  • Communication means listening, responding to public ideas and anxieties.
  • We need to recognise 'science' as only a version of the truth.
  • Ethics need to be embedded into every aspect of science learning.
  • Universities have key responsibility to connect more with schools.
